This is the Zipp Vuka Alumina Aerobar Clip set, with Carbon Race Extensions. Most aero extensions are built around the tradeoff between clean lines and adjustability. Not so with the VukaClip™, which gives you an incredible range of fine-tuning with the most stripped-down frontal area.
Using the VukaAero’s compression sleeve system without any external clamps or bolts, the VukaClip allows four axis of adjustment to the extensions: fore-aft, vertical, rotational and angular. The replaceable EVA foam pads are supported either directly above or 12.5mm behind the base bar and may be rotated to give 42 possible position combinations for maximum comfort and control.
This unique clip-on aero bar is designed with internal cable routing for Zipp® VukaExtensions' chicane, straight, ski tip or VukaShift's (chicane) extensions, which may be cut up to 90mm to give an overall length adjustment of nearly 120mm. Weight is 390g for VukaClip™ and about 105g for extensions (available separately).
The precision-machined aluminum body is shot-peened for added fatigue strength. All parts are coated with a special anodizing process to eliminate any sweat corrosion. VukaClip is sized for 31.8mm bars like Zipp’s VukaBull and SLC2™, and includes precision machined spacers for 26.0mm bars.
Vuka Race Carbon Extensions
The Vuka Race bend places the wrists at a more natural bend to help riders remain in their tuck to optimize aerodynamics and weigh just 135 grams. Zipp’s carbon Vuka Extensions give you all the options needed to optimize your aero position and go for the win or your personal best. The Vuka Race was designed using data compiled from thousands of fit sessions with recreational riders, professional cyclists and triathletes, by the world’s best fitters.
All carbon Vuka Extensions come with an industry-standard 22.2mm diameter and have a length of 360mm with sleek internal cable routing. They are compatible with the Vuka Alumina Clip but not the VukaClip or VukaAero. All extension styles are compatible with all shifting systems.
